When you are Mentally and Physically fit, you can achieve anything. Many people are guilty of not being in good shape when they see themselves in the mirror. However, it’s never too late. Here are the 5 Simple tips to stay fit and healthy.

1. Exercise Daily

Exercise for at least an hour a day. You don’t have to kill yourself by running, jogging, etc., but in your daily life, you should have some form of moderate physical activity. If you want to lose a few pounds easily, do a workout with a higher degree of intensity.

2. Eat the Right Foods and Portion Each Meal

Try to stay away from sweets, no matter how bad your stomach tells you to go for candy over healthy food. Sugar from sweets is not going to help you get in shape. Even if it’s just a single bar of candy, one can inevitably lead to another. When getting into shape, the best thing to eat is fruits and vegetables. Apples do a decent job of making the stomach feel full for up to 3 to 4 hours , for example. Green vegetables help the digestive system clean and running, such as green beans and broccoli.

Stick to lean meats such as turkey and chicken, as well. There are also fantastic alternatives to seafood, such as shrimp and tilapia. To help keep muscles fit and prepared for workouts, these foods are full of protein and good nutrients. Besides, make sure to eat a portion of what you eat. It comes from portioning meals to provide a healthy metabolism. Instead of making three major meals during the day, aim and prepare and eat six times a day and make smaller portions.

3. Keep Track of Calories and Food Intake Per Day

In preparing your physical activity, keeping track of how many calories you consume in a day can help. Ever wonder why the body mass of bodybuilders is so big? This is because they prepare their meals and eat more (healthy) calories than the average person. On the other hand, it would take more physical exercise to lose weight and aim for a skinnier body than the calories you eat.

4. Be Sure to Get Sleep

Even though most of us have eight hours of work during the day or night, having enough sleep to recharge the batteries of the body is important. Six to eight hours of sleep will keep the body working during the day, so at some point after coming home from work, if you happen to feel exhausted, take a short nap before you exercise. You’re only supposed to nap for around half an hour. This will save you later in the night from staying up.

5. Stay Motivated

Setting goals and keeping a positive mindset is an important key to being in shape. You will be able to drive yourself to get the fit body you’ve always wanted if you remain optimistic.
